The Importance of the name, RISC OS

I've long since encouraged proper spelling of "RISC OS", for many reasons, one of those has do to with it simply being its proper name, and not confusing it with similarly named systems. One abuser of this is Archive magazine, in which a "precious" and rather unhelpful small caps font is used and in which caps are avoided from other names which should have them.

Over on (an Amiga site), Jason Togneri has argued the point more eloquently than I could, trying to encourage Amiga users to spell it properly - another legacy system which has its own identity problems.

Thanks for the link. Good points made. There is much to said about the psychology of wilful misspelling, but I shall not say it here.
