Hands-on preview of Coby NBPC722 XScale-based Smartbook

Engadget has posted a preview of a 7" smartbook based on the Marvell PXA303 XScale-based system on chip. It appears that the machine will retail for US$85, and the machine demonstrated had Windows CE, although it was claimed that a Linux distribution might be available. Not much more is known at this time, but the reporter had positive impressions of the device. Due to the XScale processor, this may be a decent candidate for a RISC OS port.

Note that if I were buy this in California, sales tax and LCD recycle fee would make it almost exactly $100.
