The RISC OS London Show is now less than a month away, on Saturday 23rd October. The venue is the same as last year, the St Giles Hotel in Feltham, opening times are 11am-5pm, and entry just £5 with under-16s free.

There are over 20 exhibitors already confirmed, with more still to come. If you would like to exhibit at the show, see the contact details on the website. Non-commercial stands are free, so if you have written some software or created a novel bit of hardware that you would like to show off, do get in touch.

This year's show will be a chance to see the first RISC OS machine to pass the 1GHz mark with the arrival of the BeagleBoard-Xm, and the first native ARM powered RISC OS laptop since the Acorn A4 with the Always Innovating Touchbook.

There will of course be the usual OS and application upgrades for all RISC OS machines from RiscPC, Iyonix, and A9, to Beagleboard. For those using other OS's there will be the latest updates to the freeware RiscPC emulator RPCemu to try out.

For retro fans, there will also be the latest hardware updates for BBC Micros, and a selection of classic and unusual machines from Acorn's history.

There is something for everyone, so if you haven't done so already put the date in your diary now! ROUGOL look forward to seeing you there.

With the Midlands User Group retaining its new summer slot, this will be the last show opportunity for the purchase of stocking fillers and the like. Be there or be square!
