With the Wakefield 2011 Show now less than three weeks away, the Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club are pleased to report that details of the exhibitors who have so far confirmed that they will be attending are up on the Show website. Amongst the usual names there are a few new faces, along with some who are making a welcome return after a long absence.

The Show's Web Guide -- found in the Exhibitors section of the website -- contains a provisional floorplan for the venue, along with details of where the exhibitors will be located and information about what many of them hope to have with them on the day. We're adding details as we receive them: some of those attending are still keeping their cards close to their chests.

Once again, we will also have a full programme in the Show Theatre, with six presentations through the day. Details of who will be there, and at what times, can be found in the Theatre section of the website.

Keeping with tradition, WROCC will be supporting the Charity Stall which will be selling unwanted items in aid of Wakefield Hospice. As has become normal in recent years, the stall will be restricted in what donations it can accept due to the problems of disposal of unsold items afterwards. Full details of what can and can't be taken are on the website.

The Show is once again taking place in the Cypress, Hawthorn and Oak Suites of the Cedar Court Hotel at junction 39 of the M1, just to the south-west of Wakefield -- a free minibus service will link the venue to Wakefield Westgate station. Full travel information, including maps, for road, rail and local bus services can be found in the Travel section of the website. Entry costs £5 per adult, covering admission to both the main exhibition and the Show Theatre.

For anyone wishing to make a weekend of it, the Hotels section of the site provides details of a number of places to stay locally: including contact details and web links to the individual establishments for those who wish to investigate further.
