I tried to add an external link to the NetSurf page but since I was adding an external link, the wiki software made me enter the text shown in a mangled image before submitting the change. When I entered the text and submitted the change, I was just sent back to the same page to enter the text in a different image. I found it impossible to enter the external link. I tried in both NetSurf and Firefox on a PC. I just went round in circles trying to submit the change in both browsers. |

In the end, I removed the external link bit and managed to submit the change without incident. Is this a problem with the wiki? (tlsa) |

Possibly. We recently upgraded this wiki to a newer version in order to be in a better position against Wiki vandalism and SPAM URL mentioning. I did a quick try in the Sandbox to add an URL and that seems to work fine using Firefox. Anybody else seeing the same problem ? [[User:Joty|joty]] 12:02, 17 July 2007 (BST) |

I tried in the sandbox and it wouldn't let me add a URL. Maybe different users have different permissions? (tlsa) |
