The RISC OS Open initiative is a project to publically release the Castle Technology 'strand' of RISC OS development. As of 27 November 2007, RISC OS Open Ltd has publically announced its co-operation with RISCOS Ltd on future development of RISC OS. See the RISC OS Open Ltd link for further details.
