I'd be willing to work on the initial page but am reluctant to create what others may feel unnecessary. Is this overkill and a maintenance headache?

I think this is a good suggestion. It is easier for authors to maintain StrongHelp manuals on their own sites; indeed many manuals or versions thereof may now exist which have not made it onto the old repository.

Thanks Gavin. Added 'External link' to above list. This would enable easy verification that the riscos.info hosted version is up-to-date.

StrongHelp manual hosting

Tabulated list suggestion

I'd like to suggest linking to each manual from a tabulated list or similar. Suggested column headings:

  • Category (e.g. Programming, User documentation, General - N.B. these are just ideas)
  • Title
  • Summary
  • Release date/version no.
  • External link to location where recent manuals are hosted (e.g. author's website)
  • Download link via stated filename

I'd be willing to work on the initial page but am reluctant to create what others may feel unnecessary. Is this overkill and a maintenance headache?
