OK, I made a couple of changes. In particular I've altered the "OS" line. It strikes me that almost all software that is likely to appear on this wiki will be largely OS-neutral, so in that case you only need to enter anything on this line if it ''doesn't'' work with all the current OS versions...<br>[[User:Adamr|Adamr]] 12:09, 18 Apr 2007 (BST) |

This is looking good :)
What's intended for the "footnotes" bit? I suspect any general/extra information about the program could just go in normal wiki text under the template?
How about a Description entry in the tempate for a one-line description?
Is there any way to change what happen when items in the template aren't present? An image, for example?

Well, according to the site something in the form: {{{fieldname|}}} should appear as blank, and {{{fieldname|something else}}} should display the something else. When I was testing it, it just showed everything after the bar, including trailing braces.
The footnotes field was already there. Feel free to remove, amend etc.
Also the whole thing is positionable with CSS. It expects to find a class: "infobox bordered", which the current stylesheet doesn't have, but I'm planning on bringing up stylesheets in a separate comment at some point.
