Director is a fantastic desktop tool for RISC OS. It extends a simple scripting language built in to RISC OS to offer you the ability to create menus and place icons on the iconbar. Menu items lead to sub-menus; to useful commands or perform actions on selected files. Director comes with an extensive set of default menus that allow it to work out of the box on any RISC OS machine and integrates with the file-systems and services present.
Director is an application to allow easy navigation of your harddisc.


In its default configuration, Director will open a tree menu when a drive icon is adjust-clicked. Also a tree menu is opened with a menu-click on the titlebar of a filer window.
Director provides an innovative view onto files through easily navigatable menus. Right clicking on a drive icon will get you anywhere in the filesystem or just menu-click on the titlebar of a filer window. These menus can be linked to icons, other menus, or integrated to execute a predefined command on a user selected file.


Director also adds a new menu to the Display icon (adjust click again) for easy mode selection, and a new pinboard menu (menu-click on the pinboard)
