There's a new document on the ROOL wiki which outlines how to ensure your code runs correctly on BeagleBoard and other newer ARM hardware. In short:

  • Avoid unaligned memory access in assembler
  • Use the latest version of GCC
  • Use correct flags for Norcroft if it's not a recent version
