This DMA accelerates the OS’s rectangle fills and copies, and lends further 
support to your theory that the pixel FIFO is underrunning under heavy 
bus/memory traffic, since dragging large windows around the screen causes the 
picture to break up badly in hi-bw modes.

I’ve not attempted to measure the performance yet, but it feels more like the 
A9home than IYONIX pc to me, to be honest. I suppose that’s to be expected from
an unified memory architecture, though there may be some small improvements to 
be had from further tweaking the DMA setup too.
