Simon, the changes you made were both gratuitous and wrong. Please be much more careful, and certainly check any spelling "corrections".
Pardon me, my intention was to improve some of the poor phrasing in the article rather than change the sense of what was written. The tone is still a little ropey, IMV. 'Palettable' was a classic error, though.
