The Unix Porting Project was the name of the project which Peter Naulls created in order to facilitate bringing new applications - mostly from Linux, but also other UNIX systems - to RISC OS to increase the software through porting. Today, the term has been dropped, but the project continues under the riscos.info banner (i.e, this wiki); the work that Peter did to create the UPP exists in this wiki and also under GCCSDK (especially the porting tools, autobuilder and considerable improvements to UnixLib.

The projects previously available under the UPP are today available as riscos.info packages
