libglib2 fails, see new attachment. Seems to be any that creates an executable
as part of the build using C++. 

thunderbird2 fails right at the beginning of the build,

configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C++ compiler cannot
create executables.
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
