I redid the timings without VFP/NEON for gcc 4.6. The times came out about
the same as gcc 4.1.2, give or take a few tenths of a second.

Here's an extra comparison,

Display the netsurf style guide pdf as a bitmap using !PDF 3.02.1.23

gcc 4.6         gcc 4.1.2

6.72s           13.99s
