I have now looked at other RPCEmu installations here, and compared their
rpc.cfg files. RO 3.71, 5.21 and 6.20 are similar to that which I posted
above, however RO 4.39 is similar to that which you posted above.

3.71, 5.21 and 6.20 all have stretch_mode = 1, whereas 4.39 has
stretch_mode = 0. I've no idea what stretch_mode represents, nor how it
can be changed. It sounds as though it may have something to do with the
display, but all four installations use the same screen, and MDF.

All four installations use RPCEmu-Recompiler.exe 16:58:20 27 Mar 2013
and they all network correctly.

Baffled.
