UnixLib environment variables

While browsing the UnixLib source code, I spotted the use of two UnixLib
environment variables : Unix$uid and Unix$tty. The former to define the
(effective) User ID, the latter to define the device for initialision of
stdin, stdout and stderr (default: /dev/tty). See soruce/unix/unix.c.

Wouldn't it be more consistent that these environment variable names
get renamed to UnixEnv[$<program name>]$uid and UnixEnv[$<program name>]$tty,
i.e. conforming the other run-time UnixLib features as "nonametrans" and
"sfix" ?
