I've finally got around to tidying up the program that I used to help
run the configure script when porting Perl, which may be of use to
other people here. It uses the Linux support for binfmt_misc to detect a
cross compiled program being executed, and then runs it on a networked
RISC OS machine, capturing the output so it appears to have run locally.
It may be that qemu is good enough now to provide equivalent
functionality in most cases.
