           Summary: SUL 1.12: system()/exec*() ignoring aliases of

            Status: NEW

GCCSDK GCC 4.1.2 Release 2 Development

VRPC RISC OS 4.39

system() and exec*() are ignoring aliases of existing non-module commands.
For example, alias.c:

#include <stdlib.h>
int main(void) {
  system("time");
  system("ls");
  return 0;
}

*gcc -o test alias.c

'ls' is a previously compiled Run$Path command.

*alias ls echo should see this
*alias time echo should see this
*ls
should see this
*time
should see this

*test
should see this
!Run  c  d  Makefile  o  stat  test

Previously, the output was:
should see this
should see this
