I think this page should stick to facts. There are two versions of smbserver. Also, this site should try and avoid "controversial" comments. I suggest one of the following:
* Delete this page; or
* Add a link to the other smbserver branch (e.g. reinstate something like [http://www.riscos.info/index.php?title=RISC_OS_Samba_Server&oldid=2047 this page])

The page is accurate. As in the FAQ, there's no point listing every last detail. This site cannot condone totally unjustified forking.

This article is in serious need of a cleanup, preferably by someone who knows what the current state of play is.

As it stands, it may as well not be here at all.
